Auditions for the 20010-11 Cheer Squad will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010, at the Charles S. Johnson Wellness Center on the Grand View campus.

12:30-1pm     Registration, welcome, and introductions.
1-3pm            Learn routine, cheers, jumps, break into groups.
3-5pm            Auditions and interviews.

Sun, Sep 6, 2009 - [Spirit Squad]

The Grand View University Cheer and Dance Teams are hosting a cheer and dance clinic on Friday, September 11, for elementary students in grades 1-6. The girls will be taught a halftime routine that will be performed the following day, Saturday, September 12 at halftime of Grand View's home football game. The girls will learn technique, routines, motions, jumps, and of course SPIRIT!!

Mon, Aug 18, 2008 - [Spirit Squad]
The Spirit Squad attended an NCA (National Cheerleading Association) two-day commuter camp at Iowa State on Friday and Saturday. The Vikings received an overall Superior rating while at camp, with 10 out of 15 Superior ratings thatearned them a bid to NCA Nationals. The team was also selected as the Most Improved College Team in attendance. The Spirit Squad received their firstever Spirit Stick for exceptional spirit over the two days.This is an amazing accomplishment for a group of young ladies who had never cheered or stunted together before this weekend. Other colleges in attendance included ISU, ISU Coed, Wartburg and William Penn.
