The Spirit Squad attended an NCA (National Cheerleading Association) two-day commuter camp at Iowa State on Friday and Saturday. The Vikings received an overall Superior rating while at camp, with 10 out of 15 Superior ratings thatearned them a bid to NCA Nationals. The team was also selected as the Most Improved College Team in attendance. The Spirit Squad received their firstever Spirit Stick for exceptional spirit over the two days.This is an amazing accomplishment for a group of young ladies who had never cheered or stunted together before this weekend. Other colleges in attendance included ISU, ISU Coed, Wartburg and William Penn.
