It's a very exciting time to be a Viking! Grand View is one of the top NAIA athletic programs in the nation. 2016-17 was a historic year for Grand View athletics as our athletes brought home three national titles.  Coach Mitchell and the Grand View wrestlers captured their sixth consecutive National Championship, while Men’s golf and shooting sports claimed their first titles. Grand View also had five individual national wrestling champions, a runner-up finish at nationals by men’s volleyball, a final four national finish by men’s soccer, a seventh place national finish for competitive dance, a tenth place national finish for women’s volleyball, and national appearances in men’s basketball, softball, men’s and women’s indoor track & field, men’s and women’s indoor track & field, men’s and women’s bowling, women’s golf, and women’s cross country.

Grand View was recognized by the NAIA as a Five Star Champion of Character institution for the eighth consecutive year. This year, we will once again welcome more than 700 student-athletes to campus to compete in 25 sports programs. It is our goal to create an environment where Viking athletes have the opportunity to compete at a high level, succeed academically, and develop socially into productive citizens in the community.
