
Coach Gioffredi was hired to lead the inaugural Grand View bowling teams in the fall of 2010. He has an extensive background in bowling. He began bowling in sanctioned leagues at the age of 5. Coach Gioffredi has earned multiple top 5 state awards for singles, doubles and teams before the age of 12 and basically "grew up in the bowling alley" with his family.
Gioffredi, a Grand View alum, came to GV via Des Moines Lincoln High School where he played both football and baseball for the Railsplitters. He was then awarded a Presidential Art Scholarship along with a four-year academic and baseball scholarship to Grand View. Gioffredi played centerfield and pitched for the Vikings and was a member of the 1991 World Series Team.
Following graduating from Grand View, Gioffredi returned to competitive bowling. In that time, he has consistently averaged over 200 and has bowled three sanctioned 300 games. Gioffredi has bowled and placed at the National Bowling Tournament in Reno, Nevada, along with multiple state tournaments.
Gioffredi resides in Indianola with his wife of 17 years, Lorna, and their three children John (15), Gage (11), and Grace (7).

Melody Felton began bowling at her parents bowling center in Colfax, Iowa, at the age of three, started sanctioned leagues at the age of six, and has never looked back! Felton has to her credit a National Doubles title, several high finishes in the Women's PWBA Regional Tour including one title, won the BPAA US Open top Amateur Championship, 16 state titles in Iowa and Minnesota, won 17 Greater Iowa tournaments.
Melody has 6 300 games, a high series of 827 and averaged over 200 since 1992 with a high average of 222. Melody is a Hall of Fame Member in Jasper County Association, the Des Moines Women's Hall Of Fame, And the Iowa State Women's Hall of Fame. Melody also was a member of the National Professional Women's Bowling Association from 1992 through 2004.
Felton owned and operated Triangle Lanes in Colfax for 12 years and has Co-Owned K.O.'s Pro Shop since 1992. Melody has been a Certified USBC Silver Coach since 1999 and started her coaching career at Triangle Lanes followed up with 11 years as Youth Director and coach at Bowlerama Lanes and four years at AMF Des Moines, she also was volunteer coach for Iowa State University for 2 years and Coached Iowa High School bowling for 10 years. During that time her teams won two championships and Melody won the Conference Coach of Year Award for 2009/2010 season.
