Sophomore Josh Manske's round one 69 places him in a tie for fourth
The Grand View men's golf team sits in sixth place after the first round of the NAIA Men's Golf Championships today at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. GV shot a team score of 297 today, just six strokes behind first place Oklahoma Christian University.

Oklahoma City University is in second place (293), Southern Carolina - Beaufort is in third place (295), and California Baptist and Holy Names University (Calif.) tied for fifth place (296) to round out the top five. Followed by Grand View in sixth is Southern Nazerene University (Okla.) (298), University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) (299), Lindenwood University (Mo.) (299) and Malone College (Ohio) scored a 299 to complete the top-10 standings.

Josh Manske led the Vikings individually on Tuesday was two-under par with a score of 69 to tie for fourth place. Aaron Ahrendsen had the second best individual score for GV with a 74, Rick Fee and Graeme Molloy both shot a 77 and are tied in 74th place, and Yousaf Khan shot a, 80 and is tied in 117th place.

The second round continues Wednesday as teams tee off at 7 a.m. Grand View tees off at Noon. The 2010 NAIA National Championships are being hosted by St. Ambrose University (Iowa) and the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau.
