Manske's strong play this season has helped the Vikings earn their first MCC title

The Viking golf team closes out the final NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll as the 14th ranked team in the country. Grand View recently finished the season by winning their first ever Midwest Collegiate Conference Championship, while also winning last week's Mount Mercy Spring Invitational.

This spring season the Vikings have finished with five team wins, including the MCC championship which gives Grand View an automatic bid to the NAIA national tournament.

Individually, Josh Manske has been honored as the MCC Golfer of the Week three times this season. Manske finished at the top spot at the MCC Championships in Ankeny, while Graeme Molloy recently won the Mount Mercy Spring Invitational in Marion. Molloy also received MCC All-Tournament honors after finishing second behind Manske at the conference meet.

Nationally, Oklahoma City finished the season as the unanimous top rated team. Oklahoma City received 20 first-place votes for a total of 560 points. The Stars were the top rated team in the country for all but one poll this season (Feb. 26).

Grand View will be continue their strong season on May 18-21 when they take part in the 59th Annual NAIA Men's Golf National Championship at the TPC at Deere Run in Silvis, IL. Pairings for the tournament will be announced May 7th at 3:30 p.m.
