Sophomore Josh Manske (Algona, Iowa) was named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of April 19th. It Manske's third player of the week honor of the year, and his first of the spring season.

Manske shot a seven-under par this past weekend at the MCC Championships at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny. The first round, Manske fired a 69, while shooting an even lower 67 in the second round. In the final round on Saturday, Manske shot a one-under 70. The seven-under par over three rounds earned Manske medalist honors, while also propelling the Vikings to their first-ever Midwest Collegiate Conference title. The Vikings defeated Saint Ambrose University by nine strokes to take the top spot.
