The Viking golf team received a No. 8 ranking in the first spring edition of the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Grand View comes off a strong fall season where they also finished with a No. 8 ranking. With the ranking, the Vikings will be favorites to win the Midwest Collegiate Conference title. Conference foe St. Ambrose also received votes in the preseason poll.

Oklahoma Christian University took the top spot, followed by Savannah College of the Art and Design (Ga.), Holy Names University (Calif.), Oklahoma City University, and University of South Carolina-Beaufort top round out the top five.

The Vikings kick off their season at the Bethany College Swede Invitational in McPherson, Kansas, March 9th and 10th. The Vikings then travel down to Phoenix, Arizona, March 13-20th for their spring break trip, followed by the Central College Dutch Invitational in Pella March 26th and 27th.
