After splitting in conference play last week, the Grand View men's basketball team slipped two spots and is the No 16 team in the final NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll released Monday. The Vikings were ranked in every poll this season.
Grand View ranks in 12 national team statistical categories. Notably, the Vikings are No. 4 in the NAIA in scoring defense (62.897), No. 9 in free throw percentage (73.8%), No. 10 in turnover margin (3.483), and No. 11 in assist/turnover ratio (1.175), and No. 12 in field goal percent defense (40.4%).

Among individual leaders is Grant Burns who leads the nation in two categories; total assists (200), and assists per game (6.897). He is also No. 13 in total steals (69). Greg Schulz (Carroll, Iowa) is No. 11 is three-point field goals made (85).
Grand View (22-7) is the No. 1 seed in the MCC Tournament and will host No. 8 Iowa Wesleyan (9-19) Wednesday at 7 p.m. The winner advances to the semifinal round on Friday night.
