The Grand View men's basketball team has been a part of the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll for all nine weeks this season. The Vikings moved up two spots this week to No. 14.

As a team, the Vikings continue to remain at the top of many statistical categories, ranking in 24 categories. Grand View is currently 5th in scoring defense per game (62.30, 9th in free-throw percentage (74%) and 10th in field goal-percentage (40%). The Vikings are also ranked nationally in turnover margin (12th-3.5), assist-turnover ratio (13th-1.2), and scoring margin (22-+9.8).


Individually, Grand View ranks highly as well, placing three players statistically in the nation. Senior point guard Grant Burns leads the country in total assists (193) and assists per game (6.89). Burns also is 10th in total steals (68), 16th in assist/turnover ratio (2.2), and 17th in steals per game (2.43). Senior Corey Viet is 17th free throw percentage (84%), 22nd in field goal percentage (56%), and 46th in total scoring (473). Senior Greg Schulz is currently 9th in total 3-pt field goals made (82) and 37th in assist/turnover ratio (1.92).

The Vikings (22-6, 11-4 MCC) finish the MCC regular season on Wednesday at Mount Mercy in Cedar Rapids. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
