Addison Huffman (Des Moines, Iowa) has committed to the Grand View women' soccer program announced by head coach Ventsi Stoimirov.
Defender Huffman is a member of the two-time State Champion Iowa Rush Soccer Club team that was also the Best of Midwest Champions and the Indoor State Cup Champions. She attends Lincoln High School.
"Addison is a quick, aggressive and versatile player and I am glad she has chosen Grand View as the next step in her soccer career. Her ability to play multiple positions and her extensive experience in the very structured and disciplined environment of the Iowa Rush Soccer Club will be a great asset for our program. Just as her teammate Meghan McCoy, Addison has fought hard to achieve their current success and it is not taking it for granted. I expect her to bring the same competitive attitude to our program. She is also an easygoing person who has the ability to fit in quickly in a new environment. I expect this combination of personality traits and athletic skills will allow Addison to make quick transition to college soccer," said Stoimirov.
The daughter of Kevin and Patty Huffman of Des Moines, Addison plans to study Biology at Grand View.
