The Vikings have add to five transfers to their football program as they try to build on the success they had in 2009. Four of the five transfers will be on the defensive side of the ball while the fifth recruit will help on the offensive line
Kameron Middlebrooks (Des Moines, IA/Iowa Western Comm. College) was an all-state and all-conference performer at Des Moines Roosevelt High School and an all-district cornerback at Iowa Western Community College.

Kameron is the son of Kim Middlebrooks of Des Moines. He plans to major in Business Marketing while at Grand View.

Jon O'Malley (Lafayette, LA/Iowa Western Comm. College) was 1st team all-state at St. Albert High School and was selected to the 2006 Shrine Bowl. At Iowa-Western, he was 1st team all-conference and 1st team all-region at the safety position.

Jon is the son of Sarah Reiff and Ken O'Malley of Council Bluffs, IA. He plans to major in Business Marketing while at Grand View.

Eric Comeaux (Baytown, TX/Southeast Prep) was an honorable mention all-district performer at Barbers Hill High School and won the recipient of the Fighting Heart Award. At Southeast Prep, he helped the defense with fifteen tackles and seven sacks at the defensive end and linebacker positions.

Eric is the son of David and Colette Comeaux of Baytown, TX. He plans to major in Kinesiology while at Grand View.

Zach Myers (Monroe, IA/Iowa Central Comm. College) was 2nd team honorable mention all-district at Prairie City-Monroe High School and led them the state tournament twice. He was also a strong part of the Iowa Central CC defense at the defensive end position.

Zach is the son of Tim and Jacque Myers of Prairie City, IA. He plans to major in Health Promotion while at Grand View.

Hunter Warne (Des Moines, IA/Iowa Central Comm. College) was a two-time 2nd team all-conference offensive lineman at Johnston High School. He was also part of the offensive line at Iowa Central.

Hunter is the son of Tom and Michelle Gowdy and Roger and Nita Warne. He plans to major in Business Management while at Grand View.
