The Grand View Competitive Dance varsity red squad was ranked as the 9^th in the nation by the Universal Dance Association (UDA) National Championship Committee via videotaped entry. This is the highest video entry ranking the dance team has received to date. This ranking qualifies the team for nationals in January in Florida.

"It was my goal this year as the coach to have the dance team break into the top 10. It is my expectation that the team will defend, if not surpass, the No. 9 ranking at nationals. The talent is there and the dedication is there," said Coach Horton.

UDA Nationals take place January 14-18 in Orlando, Florida.
