The Viking women's golf team placed third at the Midwest Collegiate Conference Women's Golf Invitational Sunday at Sunnyside Country Club in Waterloo. Grand View shot 373 as a team for third behind winner St. Ambrose (343) and runner-up Viterbo (358).

Amalia Mejia (Colombia, South America) was the top placer for Grand View and finished 5th with a score of 85. Mackenzie Bourke (Ames, Iowa) shot a 91 good enough for 14th place.

Monday's round was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
