Lamoni, Iowa - It was a good day for Grand View women's volleyball. Not only did the Vikings move up two spots to No. 11 in the NAIA Top 25 Poll, but they also won their ninth straight match with their 3-1 (25-19, 19-25, 25-17, 25-19) victory over Graceland.

The Vikings were led offensively by junior Kelsey Redmond (Iowa Falls, Iowa) with a team-high 14 kills while senior Erin Wenzel (Clinton, Iowa) added 10 kills. Defensively, junior Jordyn Rittman led the way with 15 digs and sophomore Trystin Luneckas (West Branch, Iowa) added 11 digs to go with her 30 assists. Redmond ended with nine digs while junior Meagan Miller (Floyd, Iowa) also had nine digs to go with her eight kills. The Vikings finished with 11 team blocks in the win.

Grand View, who was previously ranked No. 13, is one of two Heart teams to make this week's poll. Missouri Valley was swept by Grand View this past weekend and dropped one place to No. 22.

After spending the last four games on the road, the No. 11 Vikings (17-6, 11-0) will return to their home court on Friday (Oct 6) as they host Evangel (7-15, 3-6). Game time is set for 7 p.m in Charles S. Johnson Wellness Center.
