Lamoni, Iowa – Grand View women's soccer faced a heartbreaking 2-0 loss Saturday evening against (RV) Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. The Vikings move to a 3-4 record and 0-1 in conference play.

The first half was a battle between teams but neither team was able to find the back of the net, entering halftime 0-0.

Grand View came out strong in the second half, keeping the ball in their attacking half. The Vikings got the ball in front of the net a few times but were not able to connect the final touch. Graceland was awarded a free kick which results in their first goal. The Yellowjackets soon connected on a through-ball and put the second goal away to take a 2-0 lead.

The Vikings fought back and generated a few more quality looks at the goal but Yellowjacket defense secured the 2-0 Graceland win.
