The No. 12 Grand View volleyball team hosted Heart opponent Culver Stockton Tuesday evening and came away with their second conference win of the year with a 3-1 (25-15, 28-30, 25-20, 25-9) victory.

The Vikings were led offensively by junior Kelsey Redmond (Iowa Falls, Iowa) with 18 kills. Also reaching double-digits was senior Erin Wenzel (Clinton, Iowa) with 10 kills. Sophomore Ashley Prusha (Amana, Iowa) and junior Courtney Twit (West Des Moines, Iowa) added nine and eight kills, respectively. Sophomore setter Trystin Luneckas (West Branch, Iowa) racked up 46 assists in the win while junior Jordyn Rittman (Ankeny, Iowa) tallied 17 digs. Junior Meagan Miller (Floyd, Iowa) landed four aces and the Vikings had 16 total team blocks.

Grand View remained ranked in the NAIA Top 25 this week moving down two spots from No. 10 to No. 12. Fellow Heart of America member MidAmerica Nazarene is ranked No. 19.

The Vikings (8-5, 2-0) will take on No. 5 Dordt in a non-conference match-up on Saturday (Sept 9). Game time is set for 2:30 p.m. in Sioux Center, Iowa.
