OZARK, Mo. – The Raven Grand View Baseball team ended their season with a 7-0 loss to Benedictine University in the 2017 Heart Baseball Tournament. The Vikings finished their season with a record of 29-23.

Benedictine were the first to score in the first inning and again in the second to take a 3-0 lead. Benedictine padded their lead with a pair of runs in the fourth and fifth innings.

Grand View struggled offensively, remaining hitless through the first two innings. The Vikings were only able to reach second base four times over nine innings and never had a runner reach third. Grand View was led at the plate by Jake Miller (SR/Prior Lake, Minnesota) who went 2-3.  Brandon Mazur (SR/Woodbury, Minnesota) pitched a strong 3.0 innings of relief, giving up just one hit while striking out two.
