Des Moines, Iowa- Grand View women's soccer is happy to announce the addition of Nicole Baily to the 2017 season roster. Baily is the daughter of Sherri and Robert Baily and a Des Moines native.

Baily was a defensive back for Hoover High School where she was under the coaching of Jon Runino. During her time at Hoover, Baily earned the honor of Team Captain, first team All-Conference, second team All-Conference and academic All-Conference.

"I am looking forward to see Nicole as a Viking this fall.  She is a player who is demonstrating much needed maturity and leadership on her high school team. Nicole reads the game very well and makes adjustments on her positioning to cover for any defensive breakdowns," says head coach Ventsi Stoimirov. "She is physical when the situation on the filed dictates that she needs to tackle and win the ball.  Once in possession of the ball, Nicole has the composure and the understanding to play simple, pass to an open teammate or drive a long past to a higher target to bypass the pressure.  Nicole enjoys and appreciates possession style soccer and she will fit well with the way we play."
