Knob Noster High School's all-time leading scorer, Lucas Rincker signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Grand View Vikings men's basketball team for the 2017-2018 season.

Rincker, a native of Knob Noster, Missouri, scored 1,512 points while playing for the Panthers and head coach Dustin Fox.  The 6' point guard capped off his illustrious career with a fantastic senior year in which he averaged 23.5 points and 6 rebounds per game.  Rincker was rewarded for his efforts by being named a 1st Team All-Conference performer in the East Division of the Missouri River Valley Conference and a 1st Team All-District player.  This was the second consecutive year Rincker received both of these accolades.  He was also awarded the Johnson County Player of the Year for the 2016-2017 senior season.

Lucas is the son of Amy and Wesley Rincker, and he is still undecided about his specific area of study.
