Des Moines, Iowa- Grand View Football welcomes three Iowa Central Community College transfers to the 2017 spring roster. All men were under the coaching of Kevin Twait during their time at ICCC.

Grant Sherman is 6'0, 185 lbs., punter from Saydel, Iowa. Sherman comes to Grand View with several honors. In high school Sherman was named 2014 All-District Defensive Back, 2015 1st Team All-Conference Punter, 2015 1st Team All-District Punter, 2015 All-American Punter. During his time at ICCC Sherman was named 2016 Academic All-Region, 2016 1st Team All-Region Punter, 2016 Iowa Central Special Teams Most Valuable Player, 2016 All-American Punter. In 2016 Sherman recorded 97 punts, with a 41.6 yard average. While attending Grand View Sherman will study Liberal Arts.

Mason Bowe is a 6'3, 290 lbs., center transfer West Des Moines, Iowa. Bowe attended Newton High School where he earned 1st team All-District, 1at Team Academic All-District and was the team captain. During his time at Grand View Bowe plans to study Secondary Education.

Devlyn Kane Johnson is a 6'6, 280 lbs., offensive tackle/defensive end transfer from Laurens, Iowa. During his time at ICCC Johnson earned All-Conference honors both years. Johnson attended North Scott High School where he earned 3 All-Conference honors, 2 All-Metro honors, 1 All-State honor, 1 All-Academic honor and was named team captain. While attending Grand View Johnson plans to major in Criminal Justice.
