Grand View men's and women's bowling teams traveled to Wauwatosa Wisconsin to compete in their first competition of the season, the Midwest Invitational. The women finished first and the men 16th. Rebecca Broerman highlighted the weekend with her outstanding performance of a 216.6 average  in individual games on Saturday won first place individual .

The women's finished first out of 32 teams. The Vikings bowled 30 games on Saturday with a combined team total of 5811 for a 193.7 average.

Sunday morning the Vikings came back to bowl 16 baker games and ended with a 3132 and a 195.7 average.  The combined two day total was 8943 with a team average of 194.4.

The Grand View men's bowling team finished 16th out of a field of 42 teams. The men bowled 30 games on Saturday with a combined team total of 5948 for a team average pf 198.2.

The men bowled 16 baker games on Sunday and had a team pin count of 3279 a 204.9 average.  The combined two day total pinfall was 9227 a two day combined team average of 200.5.
