The Grand View Vikings women's golf team competed in the Graceland Invitational held at Lamoni Golf and Country Club in Lamoni, Iowa this past Saturday placing 4th out of six teams.

As a team the Vikings shot an overall total of 366 which was nine strokes behind 3rd place finisher Simpson College. William Penn University won the event shooting a total of 333 and Missouri Valley College took 2nd with a 342 team score.

Kimberly Nelson (Malaysia) was the low scorer for the Vikings as she finished tied for 4th place coming in with a round of 11 over par 83 which put her three strokes behind the winner who shot 80. Emily Wagner (Casey, Iowa) was not far behind as she shot 86 on the day which was good enough to put her tied for 8th place.

Alexis Owen (Adel, Iowa) came in at tied for 24th place shooting 96 on the day while Kenzie Nossaman (Pella, Iowa) was just five strokes behind shooting 101 to finish 30th. Olivia Erpelding (Wesley, Iowa) shot 103 to finish two spots behind Nossaman at tied for 32nd.
