Sarah Thomas (Taylor Ridge, Ill.) has committed to the Grand View softball program announced by head coach Lou A. Yacinich.

Thomas transfers to Grand View from Muscatine Community College where she was an All-Region, NJCAA Third Team All-American, and an NFCA All-American shortstop. She batted .481 in 2009 with 96 hits, 19 doubles, 4 triples, 8 home runs, 54 RBI, and 29 stolen bases.

Sarah also excels off of the field and in the classroom as she was named to the Dean's List twice at MCC.
