GV student-athletes can participate in two sports to help Grand View build on its winning tradition. Dual sport participation gives student-athletes a chance to compete year-round.

The 4x100m Relay team consisted of four football/track & field athletes who set a new record last week at the MCC Championships. Their time of 41.99 was also an NAIA provisional national qualifying time.

Freshman Tyler Wells broke the school record for outdoor shot put with a throw of 48' ½" at the MCC Championships. Tyler is also a lineman on the Viking football team. We enjoy having young men who thrive on competing year-round to help GV Athletics achieve its goals!

The men's and women's track teams won MCC Championships in 2009. If you are interested in being a dual-sport athlete, maybe you should consider giving Grand View a closer look!
