The Grand View bowling teams had a fantastic weekend at the Roto Grip Eagles Baker Challenge held January 9-10 in Chicago, Illinois.

The Viking women won the tournament with a total pin count of 7152 prior to match play. In match play, the women beat Viterbo, Mount Mercy, and Calumet en route to the tourney title.

The Viking men also had a great weekend finishing seventh overall with a total pin count of 7008 over 40 baker games, the program's highest finish ever at this tournament. The men had a high game of 765 and scored the second highest score in the center on Sunday with 2969 pins.

In match play, the men faced #2 seed McKendree and fought hard, but fell short with the loss to the Bearcats.

Both the men and women next travel to Addison, Illinois weekend (January 16-17) to compete in the Kegel Tournament.
