The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced 204 division II women's basketball players have been named 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Student-athletes must be nominated by their head coach, have achieved junior academic status and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Three members of the Grand View women's basketball team earned Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete status: seniors Jodi Nikkel (Sully, Iowa/Art Education) and Alicia Onnen (Manson, Iowa/Business Administration) and junior Molly Gunsaulus (Newton, Iowa/Psychology).
