The Midwest Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball All-Conference teams have been released.
Four members of the Grand View women's basketball team received post-season honors as voted on by the MCC coaches.
Senior center Jodi Nikkel (Sully, Iowa) and junior forward Bailey Schechinger (Manilla, Iowa) were selected to the First Team. Senior guard Alicia Onnen (Manson, Iowa) and junior guard Jamie Sickles (Readlyn, Iowa) were selected to the Honorable Mention team.


Nikkel was among leaders in MCC play in scoring (9th-13.4 ppg), rebounding (4th-9.6 rpg), blocks (1.06 bpg), field goal percentage (9th-47.6%), and free throw percentage (13th-73.6%). She was the MCC Player of the Week in February.
Schechinger was also among leaders in scoring (9th-13.4 ppg), rebounding (9th-6.8 ppg), field goal percentage (5th-50.9%), and blocks (12th-.69 bpg). She was the MCC Player of the Week twice this season.
In MCC play, Sickles was among leaders in steals (8th-1.75 spg), assists (9th-2.69 apg), free throw percentage (11th-74.6%), field goal percentage (13th-45%), and scoring (20th-10.5 ppg).
Onnen was the Vikings' defensive stopper this season. She excelled from the outside in three-point shooting and was 11th in the MCC for three-pointers made per game (1.50)
All four players averaged over 29 minutes per game for Grand View this season.
The Vikings were 23-9 overall and 13-3 in MCC play in 2008-09. They were rated as high as No. 16 in the NAIA this year.
