Viking junior David Walter (Eau Claire, Wis.) was selected as this week's MCC Player of the Week for men's golf announced today.

Walter was one-over par 217 (72-72-73) to take runner-up honors out of 56 competitors at the Peak's Classic last week in La Veta, Co.  His finish paced Grand View to the title at the ten-team event.

GV next competes September 20-21 at the Iowa Intercollegiate meet hosted by William Penn at The Preserve Golf Course in Moravia.
